Access Statement For ASHMIRA

Introduction

We cater for the needs of our guests in this family run 7 Bedroom Guest Accommodation. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to contact us and we will endeavor to help.

Pre-Arrival

• We are situated on the main Bus Route into and out of Weymouth. The nearest bus stop is 200 metres away.
• Weymouth Railway Station is 5 minutes away by car.
• There are local Taxi services available, we can make a booking for you if required.
• Ashmira Information Sheets and Menu's can be provided in large print if required.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• On arrival at Ashmira please park at the front of the property.
• Please park between the lines.
• The parking area is concrete, with a slight slope up to the front entrance of Ashmira.
• We will assist Guests with their luggage if required.

Main Entrance & Reception

• There are 5 steps leading up to the front door.
• Metal handrails are on each side of the steps.
• The outer front door is open during daylight hours unless there is adverse weather.
• The Vestibule is 2m x 2m and the floor is Tiled with a large Rug (Runner) in the middle.
• The inner front (vestibule) door is always locked.
• Both front doors are 95cm wide.
• There is a Door Bell on the outside of both door frames.
• On entry into Ashmira, there is a Hallway, 2m wide x 6m long.
• All of the Ashmira is carpeted with short pile hard wearing carpet.
• A two seater leather Sofa is provided in the Hallway.

Public Areas - General (Internal)

• From hallway a door leads into the Guest TV Lounge.
• The lounge is furnished with 2 Sofa's, 2 Reclining Armchairs and 2 Tub chairs with 3 small Coffee Tables and 1 Larger Coffee Table. The Large Plasma Television is mounted on the wall.
• The staircase in the Hallway, 16 stairs x 17cm high with handrails on each side, leads up to the first Landing 1, outside Room 1. One step x 17cm high, into Room 1.
• 4 stairs up to Landing 2, leading through 75cm wide Fire door to Rooms 2,3 and 4.
• 12 stairs leading up to Landing 3 then 1 step up in doorway into Room 5
• 6 stairs leading up through 70cm wide fire door to Landing 4 and Rooms 6, 7 and 8.
• All staircases are 80cm wide.

Public Areas - WC

• All of the Bedrooms are en-suite so there is no requirement for a public M.C.

Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe

• From the Hallway through a 70cm wide Fire door, another door leads into the Dining /Breakfast Room. The door is 75cm wide.
• In the Breakfast Room there are 8 small Dining Tables, one per room. There are also 3 tables set in an "L" shape in the corner of the room for the Buffet Breakfast items.
• Access around the Tables is slightly restricted when busy.

Outdoor Facilities

• The outside door from the Dining Room leads onto an Iron balcony. Seating on the Balcony may be provided during good weather.
• From the Balcony, a flight of 13, 20cm high Iron Steps lead down into a small Graveled Garden area with seating.

Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment

• The Dining Room may be re-arranged into a Meeting Room if required. Seating 20

Bedrooms

• Bedroom 1. 85cm entrance door. Sold as a single room but fitted with a Double Bed. At least 50cm walking area around the bed. fitted furniture, Coffee making facilities, T.V. with Teletext and a soft fold away chair is provided. Small showeroom through 70cm wide door.
• Room 2. 90cm entrance door. A large, spacious and quiet Double Room. Fitted furniture with good access around the King-size bed. a T.V. with teletext is mounted on the wall, Tea and Coffee making facilities and two soft chairs are provided. 85cm wide door into large Showeroom.
• Room 3. 90cm entrance door. A large, spacious Double Room. Fitted furniture with good access around the King-size bed. a T.V. with DVD Player and teletext, Tea and Coffee making facilities and two soft Tub chairs and coffee table are provided. 70cm wide door into Showeroom.
• Room 4. 90cm wide entrance door. A good sized Double Room with fitted furniture and good access around the Double Bed. A T.V. with teletext, Tea and Coffee making facilities and two soft chairs are provided. A 70cm door into Showeroom.
• Room 5. 85cm Entrance Door. A standard Double Room with fitted furniture and slightly restricted access around the Double Bed. A T.V. with teletext, Tea and Coffee making facilities and two soft chairs are provided. A 70cm door into the Showeroom.
• Room 6. 85 cm Entrance Door. Good access to the two Single Beds, plenty of space between furniture. A T.V. with teletext, Tea and Coffee making facilities, two chairs and a table are provided. A 70cm door into the Showeroom.
• Room 7. 85cm Entrance Door. Good access to the King Size Double bed, plenty of space between furniture. A T.V. with DVD Player and teletext and Tea and Coffee making facilities are provided. A 70cm door into the Showeroom.

Bathroom, Shower-room & WC (Ensuite or Shared)

• All Showerooms have a Shower (see following list for types), W.C. and Basin. The flooring is Vinyl non slip. A high quality Bath Sheet, Bath Towel and Hand Towel is provided for each Guest with quality Showering products also supplied.
